The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston raised more than $34,000 for its programs at a “Warm Your Palate” fundraising event Thursday at Now We’re Cookin’ in Evanston.

Celebrating IWSE’s Centennial, local chefs took the capacity crowd of 120 guests on a culinary excursion as they sampled signature appetizers and desserts.

The society provides early childhood education and family support services for teen parents and low-income families with young children in Evanston and surrounding communities.
