THEFT

1600 Fowler

A gray 2004 Jeep was stolen from the 1600 block of Fowler Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. yesterday.

2200 Oakton

Shoplifters took miscellaneous merchandise from the Home Depot store in the 2200 block of Oakton Street around 1:53 p.m. yesterday.

700 Chicago

Food that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 700 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen around 3 p.m. Monday.

1600 Chicago

Food items were taken from the Whole Foods grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 4:45 p.m. Monday.

700 Clark

A package containing jewelry that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 700 block of Clark Street was stolen around 4 p.m. Monday.

100 Asbury

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 8:45 a.m. Monday.

300 Callan

A package containing a laptop computer that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Callan Avenue was stolen around 1:15 p.m. yesterday.

BATTERY

927 Davis

Blair M. Devine, 35, of 1400 W. Greenleaf Ave., was arrested at 927 Davis St. at 1:19 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery.

1128 Chicago

Joshua J. Parkman, 22, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 8:07 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.

Shaun B. Phillips, 27, of 901 Maple Ave., was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave., at 10:08 p.m. Monday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Oct. 30 at 9 a.m.

BURGLARY

1800 Brummel

Nothing was taken from an unlocked 2016 Subaru that was entered between 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.

1000 Elmwood

Someone entered an unlocked 2011 Buick in the 1000 block of Elmwood Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

1600 Ridge

Cash, a knife, and tools were stolen from an unlocked 2017 Ford in an apartment parking space in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between 7:40 p.m. and 8:40 p.m. Monday.

2000 Sherman

An open window provided access for a burglar to an apartment in the 2000 block of Sherman Avenue between 11 p.m. and midnight yesterday. Cash was reported missing.

1700 McDaniel

Cash and photo identification were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of McDaniel Avenue between 8 p.m. Monday and 10:47 a.m. yesterday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1300 Brummel

Someone keyed the hood and the passenger side door of a 2016 Jeep in the 1300 block of Brummel Street between 7 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. yesterday.

800 Davis

A window was damaged at the municipal parking lot in the 800 block of Davis Street around 8:43 a.m. Monday.

GRAFFITI

2700 Central

Graffiti was discovered at 10:36 a.m. Monday at an apartment common area in the 2700 block of Central Street.

2800 Central

Graffiti was discovered at a retail establishment in the 2800 block of Central Street at 5:21 p.m. Monday.

2600 Ewing

Graffiti was discovered in the street in the 2600 block of Ewing Avenue at 11:17 a.m. Monday.

OTHER

2100 Dewey

Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue at 11:55 a.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

TRAFFIC

2013 Oakton

Nicolas Xavier Roesch, 19, of 1841 N. Lincoln Park West, Chicago, was arrested at 2013 Oakton St. at 3:27 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Oct. 16 at 9 a.m.

1008 Crain

William C. Wathen, 62, of 1413 Main St., was arrested at 1008 Crain St. at 11:07 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m.

2127 Oakton

Wyatt T. Witt, 20, of 822 Dobson St., was arrested at 2127 Oakton St. at 5:45 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 22 at 9 a.m.
