900 Michigan

Burglars forced open the front door to an apartment in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 4:54 p.m. yesterday and stole jewelry.

Grey at Howard

Devonte C. Moret, 19, of 232 Richmond Ave., was arrested at Grey Avenue and Howard Street at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

1123 Howard

Olanrewaju M.Oshiga, 32, of 7540 N. Ridge Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at 1123 Howard St. at 1:37 a.m. yesterday and charged with attempted murder in the first degree.

Theft

1700 Sherman

Cash was removed from a bag at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between 1:12 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. yesterday.

2500 Prairie

A parking permit was removed from a 2010 Subaru in the 2500 block of Prairie Avenue between noon Sunday and 8:09 p.m. yesterday.

2450 Main

Charity M. Wilson, 43, of 8121 Keating Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 6:14 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on April 23 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
