Evanston residents have just one week left to buy 2011 city stickers for their cars, or get stuck with a 50 percent penalty.

Two sticker designs are available, promoting different local non-profits.

Stickers are on sale until 7:30 tonight and from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Revenue Office on the first floor of the Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave.

They’ll also be on sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave. and from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St.

For more information call 847-866-2923.

Starting Jan. 10 a passenger car sticker that now costs $75 will set you back $113.

  1. Where are the stickers?

I mailed my check for the stickers to the City Collector some three weeks ago, but the stickers have not yet arrived in the mail? Are others experiencing a similar problem?
