The Evanston/Skokie District 65 School Board will hear presentations Monday afternoon from a group of students from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
For the past several weeks, the students have been brainstorming ideas to support two sections of the recently approved strategic plan for the district: Thriving Workforce and Financial Sustainability.
The goal of the Thriving Workforce section is to “foster a collaborative, creative, and inclusive workplace that attracts, develops, and actively supports the best talent.”
And the goal for the Financial Sustainability section is to “ensure long-term financial stability of the district with resources aligned to priorities.”
The presentations will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the district headquarters at 1500 McDaniel Ave. They are expected to conclude by 6 p.m., when the board is scheduled to move into a closed session.
The regular board meeting will then resume in a public session at 7 p.m.
