The City of Evanston’s 2011 Starlight Concert Series will conclude with a performance by the Ken Arlen Orchestra on Tuesday, Aug. 23.

The free concert will take place from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Dawes Park, Sheridan Road at Church St., Evanston. The Orchestra was originally scheduled to perform on Aug. 2, but sudden inclement weather caused a cancellation.

The Ken Arlen Orchestra is a 15-piece orchestra that combines four world-class vocalists with eleven of the top professional musicians in Chicago. They will perform a mix of pop, soul and contemporary music at the Starlight Concert.

Rain site updates are posted after 4:30 p.m. on concert dates at 847-448-8058.

This summer’s 16 free Starlight Concerts are sponsored by the City of Evanston Cultural Arts Division, with support from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. For more information, call 847-448-8260.
