Battery

653 Clark

Hazel M. Downs, 65, address unknown, was arrested at 653 Clark St. at 5:20 a.m. yesterday and charged with aggravated battery. She is due in court on Oct. 12 at 9 a.m.

930 Church

Cheyenne L. Selkirk, 18, of 4448 N. Kimball, Chicago, was arrested at 930 Church St. at 11:14 p.m. Monday. He is due in court on Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1200 Forest

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage of a home in the 1200 block of Forest Avenue between 8:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

1500 Judson

An unlocked window provided access for a burglar to a home in the 1500 block of Judson Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.

1400 Judson

Several documents, a wallet, a shoulder bag, and keys to a 2016 red Honda and a grey BMW were taken in the burglary of a home in the 1400 block of Judson Avenue between 10 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.

1500 Oak

A GPS unit was taken from a 2008 Acura in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Oak Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. yesterday.

900 Brown

A burglar used an unlocked door to enter a home in the 900 block of Brown Avenue between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. yesterday.

1500 Asbury

A burglar broke the window of a 2004 Lexus in the 1500 block of Asbury Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 5:45 a.m. yesterday.

2100 Orrington

Burglars slashed a screen at the rear of a home in the 2100 block of Orrington Avenue between 1:45 p.m. Monday and 4:41 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1900 Jackson

Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue at about 12:50 a.m. today. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

117 Callan

Jamal Going, 26, of 6225 N. Claremont, Chicago, and Jockess Jarmin Miller, 25, of 4827 S. Seely, Chicago, were arrested at 117 Callan Ave. at 11:25 p.m. Sunday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. They are due in court on Oct. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

1427 Chicago

Terry Williams, 53, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1427 Chicago Ave. at 12:39 a.m. yesterday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Oct. 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Theft

Central at Poplar

A bicycle and cable lock were stolen near Central Street and Poplar Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 6:55 p.m. Monday.
