300 Greenwood

A black 2014 Kia Sorrento with the keys inside was taken from a residential garage in the 300 block of Greenwood Street between 10 a.m. Nov. 15 and 9:54 a.m. Friday.

2200 Howard

Alcoholic products were taken from a department store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 6 p.m. Friday.

600 Hinman

A package delivered to an apartment common area in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue was stolen between 11:13 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Nov. 8.

600 Lake

A cell phone was taken from a church in the 600 block of Lake Street between 1:45 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday.

1600 Chicago

Food items were stolen from a grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 1 p.m.Saturday.

1100 Chicago

Food items were taken from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Central

A backpack left unattended on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of Central Street was stolen around 4 p.m. Friday.

1800 Wesley

A bicycle in an open garage in the 1800 block of Wesley Avenue was taken around 7 p.m.Saturday.

1700 Sherman

Clothing items were stolen from a store in  the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 3:20 p.m. yesterday.

100 Asbury

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday.

2017 Washington

Peter S Baranovskis, 28, of 2017 Washington St., was arrested at that address at 6:45 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

1702 Dodge

Gerald A. Brooks, 53, of 1408 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1702 Dodge Ave. at 7:37 p.m. Saturday and charged with theft. He is due in court on Dec. 26 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Damage

800 Davis

Two exit control arms were broken at the city parking garage in the 800 block of Davis Street between 4:24 p.m. and 9:38 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Main

Damage was found in the washroom of the Robert Crown Center in the 1700 block of Main Street at 10:39 p.m. Saturday.

1800 Darrow

A door was damaged at an apartment common area in the 1800 block of Darrow Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

600 Howard

A fender was damaged on a 1999 Mercury in the 600 block of Howard Street between 3:30 p.m. and 4:41 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal Trespass

1454 Elmwood

Jose Castulo, 19, of 726 Dobson St., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:42 a.m. Friday and charged with trespass to real property. He is due in court on Dec. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Graffiti

500 Sheridan

Graffiti was found in an alley in the 500 block of Sheridan Road at 2:51 p.m. Friday.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
