1400 Foster

A 2014 Kia sustained a shattered rear window, a broken gas cap, and keying of a door in the 1400 block of Foster Street between 6:30 p.m. yesterday and 12:16 a.m. today.

Battery

1802 Hartrey

Curtis A. Carter, 26, of 1802 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at that address at 1:59 a.m. today and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on May 23 at 9:30 a.m.

Drugs

1211 Chicago

Roderick X. P. Walker, 26. address unknown, was arrested at 1211 Chicago Ave. at 5:25 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Theft

700 Custer

A license plate was removed from a 2007 Suzuki in the 700 block of Custer Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and 9:50 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
