Kids along with their favorite teddy bears and parents will attend Rush North Shore Medical Center’s free Teddy Bear Injury Clinic from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 26, at the Skokie Park District, Devonshire Center, 4400 Greenwood, Skokie.

Children will don masks and gowns to “scrub in” a make-shift trauma center to fix their teddy bear’s ailment, ranging from broken bones to sprained paws. This interactive program introduces children to the ABC’s of emergency care.

Kids will help medical staff fix their Teddy Bear’s broken bones, sprains, cuts and more, to learn about emergency care. Kids will even get their own finger cast while learning to be comfortable about visiting the emergency room. For information or to register for this free program, call (847) 674-1500 ext. 2400.
