A canvas bag containing Northwestern University lacrosse uniforms was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. yesterday.
Criminal Damage
900 Madison
Some damage was inflicted on the yard of a home in the 900 block of Madison Street between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. yesterday.
Shots Heard
600 Custer
Gunshots were reported in the 600 block of Custer Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
2000 Dodge
Gunshots were reported in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue at about 11:35 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Theft
1300 Elmwood
A bicycle, left unattended, was stolen from the yard of a home in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue between 2 p.m. Tuesday and 4:40 p.m. yesterday.
1600 Hinman
A bicycle was stolen from a sidewalk in the 1600 block of Hinman Avenue between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. yesterday.
800 Davis
A bike was stolen from a business parking lot in the 800 block of Davis Street between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. yesterday.
1700 Orrington
A bicycle was stolen from a business parking lot in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 3 p.m. and 3:39 p.m. yesterday.
Traffic
1318 Brummel
Dwayne L. Hayden, 33, of 7719 N. Paulina, Chicago, was arrested at 1318 Brummel St. at 12:42 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.
