The City of Evanston’s Human Relations Division has scheduled two free workshops on the city’s Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance. The workshops are appropriate for landlords, tenants or anyone thinking of become either.
The sessions are planned from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, April 30 and May 14 in room 2404 of the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue. Call (847) 866-2920 to reserve a seat for either session.
Topics for the workshops include: evictions, heat, repairs, criminal activity, water, security deposits and rent. The sessions will also feature speakers from the Property Standards Division and the Police Department.
