A laptop computer, cell phone, and jewelry were among items taken in the burglary of an apartment in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

100 Ridge

A burglar accessed an apartment in the 100 block of Ridge Avenue via an unlocked window between 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. yesterday. Among items taken were a laptop computer, a cell phone, jewelry, a gaming system, and cash.

700 Mulford

Pry marks on the door indicated that an attempt was made to break into a condominium in the 700 block of Mulford Street between 1 p..m. and 6:30 p.m. yesterday.

Drugs

2209 Howard

Michael S. Marinko, 29, of 111 N. Lincoln, Hinsdale, was arrested at 2209 Howard St. at 11:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on May 22 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

600 Hinman

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue at 5:55 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

2650 Ridge

Adrian R. Maceyras, 25, of 2654 W. Thorndale Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave. at 1:02 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 29 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
