Someone displayed a weapon in the 1100 block of Pitner Avenue yesterday between 8:10 and 8:55 a.m.

Burglary

2200 Madison

Metals were taken from the garage of a home in the 2200 block of Madison Place between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. yesterday.

600 Hinman

A burglar damaged a door to an apartment in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue as he took a laptop computer, a cell phone, and miscellaneous jewelry between 8 a.m. and 5:01 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

1105 Central

Michael M. Baca, 18, of 3744 N. Wilton Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1105 Central St. at 5:57 p.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass of state-supported land. He is due in court on April 14 at 1:30 p.m.

Theft

1600 Chicago

A pickpocket removed a wallet from a victim’s coat pocket in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 11 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
