600 Church

A laptop computer left behind in a Lyft ride-sharing vehicle was stolen around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Church Street

2300 Howard

A laptop computer, a desktop computer, and a cell phone were stolen from a retail establishment in the 2300 block of Howard Street around 2:08 p.m. yesterday.


800 Washington

Graffiti was discovered in the 800 block of Washington Street at 4:42 p.m. yesterday.


1454 Elmwood

Kerry J. Farina, 38, of 2004 Foster St., was arrested at the Evanston police station at 3:18 p.m. Friday and charged with three counts of aggravated home repair fraud.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
