Battery

925 Hinman

Danny M. Jones, 49, of 925 Hinman Ave., was arrested at that address at 10:45 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on April 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1000 Brummel

A laptop computer was taken in the burglary of a 2005 Kia in the 1000 block of Brummel Street between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. yesterday

Graffiti

Clyde at Brummel

Graffiti was discovered on railway property at Clyde Avenue and Brummel Street at 6:52 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

700 Church

An attempt was made to steal merchandise from a retail establishment in the 700 block of Church Street at 8:01 p.m. yesterday.

1400 Pitner

A package containing clothing that was delivered to an apartment common area in the 1400 block of Pitner Avenue was stolen around 4 p.m. yesterday.

100 Asbury

A radio was stolen at the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 5:41 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
