Burglary

1200 Chicago

An Apple laptop computer was among items stolen from an unlocked 2012 Volkwagen in the Trader Joe’s parking lot in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue around 4 a.m. yesterday.

2700 Bernard

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2010 Honda in the driveway of a home in the 2700 block of Bernard Place between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

Dodge at Dempster

Eric S. Boose, 49, of 1962 E. 71st St., Chicago, was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Dempster Street at 4:46 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
