The Fountain Square Art Festival wraps up its two-day run in downtown Evanston today. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Here are some images captured Saturday on the festival’s opening day.

Booths on Sherman Avenue.

Admiring a metal flower.

Not everything appeals to everybody.

Kids get to make their own art.

Folk-art faces.

The wait for customers.

A food break — with booths from local restaurants.

Views of far-away places that could hang on your wall.
