Theft

2400 Howard

A wallet was stolen from a purse at the Jewel Supermarket in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 3:55 and 4:06 p.m. Tuesday.

1600 Dodge

An unsecured Cannondale bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and noon Tuesday.

1700 Orrington

Cash was stolen from a wallet at a hotel in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday.

1800 Brown Avenue

A lawnmower and other items were stolen when someone cut a padlock at a church in the 1800 block of Brown Avenue between 5 p.m. Monday and 8:39 a.m. Tuesday.

Traffic

1700 Maple

Talath Khatoon, 33, of 2656 W. Lunt in Chicago, was arrested for a traffic violation at 1725 Maple Ave. at 9:15 p.m.Tuesday and is due in Skokie District Court at 1:30 p.m. August 16.

Vehicle Theft

700 Brummel

A black 1999 Toyota was stolen from the street in the 700 block of Brummel Street between midnight July 10 and 8 p.m. Tuesday.
