Theft

1600 Ridge

A delivered package containing leather boots was stolen from an apartment common area in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday.

1600 Sherman

A shoplifter stole merchandise from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 12:55 p.m. yesterday.

1400 Grey

A 2009 Toyota was stolen from the 1400 block of Grey Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Main

A wallet was stolen from a public building in the 1700 block of Main Street between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Monday.

2600 Ridge

Cash was taken from an office at Evanston Hospital between 2:45 p.m. and 6 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
