Theft

1700 Hovland

Someone removed a license plate off a 2015 Jeep parked in the 1700 block of Hovland Court between 8 a.m. and 3:40 p.m. yesterday.

1705 Sherman

Sammi K. Jackson, 33, of 5662 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1705 Sherman Ave. at 3:55 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on May 15 at 1:30 p.m.

1640 Chicago

Sarah B. Lilie, 35, of 1009 Florence Ave., was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 7:23 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on June 6 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

1826 Central

Sean M. Bruske, 27, of 1819 Park Ave., North Chicago, was arrested at 1826 Central St. at 7:24 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

500 Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered on a park building in the 500 block of Sheridan Square at 7:16 a.m. yesterday.

Other

100 Chicago

Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:21 p.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
