THEFT
2200 Ridge
Someone stole a license plate from a 2020 Kymco scooter in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue around 1 p.m. yesterday.
2700 Hampton
A license plate was stolen off a 2007 Mercury in the 2700 block of Hampton Parkway between 10:45 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 p.m. yesterday.
800 Mulford
A license plate was removed from a 2006 Honda in the 800 block of Mulford Street between midnight and 3 p.m. Saturday.
700 Judson
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2002 Honda in the 700 block of Judson Avenue between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 and 6 p.m. on Sept. 7.
1400 Grove
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2005 Toyota in the 1400 block of Grove Street around 5:30 a.m. yesterday.
2000 Noyes
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2008 Toyota in the 2000 block of Noyes Street between Sept. 11 and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
100 Clyde
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2007 Honda in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue between midnight and 3 p.m. Saturday.
2400 Howard
Miscellaneous items were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 2:19 p.m. yesterday.
800 Noyes
Alcoholic products were stolen from a convenience store in the 800 block of Noyes Street at 1:54 p.m. Monday.
2200 Howard
A phone was taken from a victim’s pocket at a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street at 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 7.
1000 Asbury
Someone took a purse from a home in the 1000 block of Asbury Avenue between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. yesterday.
2300 Marcy
Packages were stolen from a residence in the 2300 block of Marcy Avenue between Jan. 21 and 3:38 p.m. yesterday.
2200 Ridge
Packages were stolen from the common area of a building in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
1900 Ridge
A backpack was stolen from a home in the 1900 block of Ridge Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
1900 Dewey
Jewelry was taken from a home in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue around 6:16 p.m. yesterday.
1100 Howard
A Fixie bicycle was stolen from a restaurant in the 1100 block of Howard Street around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
BATTERY
1916 Dempster
Christopher D. Lawson, 34, of 7648 N. Paulina Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1916 Dempster St. at 6:40 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.
BURGLARY
500 Wesley
Undisclosed items were taken from an unlocked 2014 Mazda in the 500 block of Wesley Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
2300 Marcy
Headphones were taken from an unlocked 2015 Mercedes in the 2300 block of Marcy Avenue between 12:03 p.m. Monday and 12:03 p.m. Tuesday.
2300 Hastings
Undisclosed items were taken from an unlocked 2008 BMW in the 2300 block of Hastings Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
1000 Howard
Electronic equipment was stolen from an unlocked Ford vehicle in the 1000 block of Howard Street around 8:30 a.m. yesterday.
800 Hinman
A silver Trek Verve bicycle was taken from the storage area of a building in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday.
600 Davis
A burglar gained entry to a business in the 600 block of Davis Street through an unlocked door and stole a backpack around 2 p.m. Monday.
300 Dempster
A burglar entered a home in the 300 block of Dempster Street by unknown means around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole items of clothing.
1000 Garnett
A burglar entered a home in the 1000 block of Garnett Place by unknown means around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday and stole medication.
1800 Wesley
An open garage in the 1800 block of Wesley Avenue provided an opportunity for someone to enter and steal a gray Trek bicycle between 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 10 and 9 a.m. the following morning.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
800 Brummel
The door of a home in the 800 block of Brummel Street was damaged by a caustic substance between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.
700 Howard
Damage was sustained to sidewalk planters in the 700 block of Howard Street between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8:46 a.m. yesterday.
GRAFFITI
2200 Main
Graffiti was discovered spray-painted on a commercial building in the 2200 block of Main Street at 8:36 a.m. yesterday.
300 Keeney
Red paint graffiti was discovered on a walkway in the 300 block of Keeney Street at 8:30 p.m. yesterday.
1600 Sheridan
Graffiti was discovered in the restroom at a park in the 1600 block of Sheridan Road at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
TRAFFIC
7500 Sheridan
Luis Lopez-Salinas, 22, of 4856 S. Justine Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7500 Sheridan Road at 9:03 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.
493 Sheridan
Tina M. Yates, 33, of 7650 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 493 Sheridan Road at 6:37 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.
