A little more snow should fall in Evanston in a narrow window starting about 10 this morning and ending around 1:30 p.m.
Assistant Public Works Director James Maiworm says a half-inch to an inch is expected. Temperatures should be around or just above the freezing mark for today’s high.
Maiworm says public works crews anti-iced all of the main and secondary roads overnight in anticipation of the snowfall.
Tonight additional snow showers are expected which could give us an additional quarter to half inch of snow.
He says crews are now patching potholes and will shift to snow removal when required.
And, more snow showers are expected on Thursday.
