The National Weather Services says we’re likely to get light to briefly moderate snow late tonight and into Saturday morning.

Edgar Cano of Evanston’s Public Works Agency says the snow could total one to two inches on city streets.

Cano says crews are prepping all equipment and will be anti-icing bridge decks and main thoroughfares as a precaution.

“We anticipate bringing in night staff to monitor weather and pavement conditions and have immediate response to any precipitation,” Cano says. “Day crews will be brought in as needed to take over operations in the morning.”
