A6 – Professional services agreement for actionable pricing for electric energy supply

Kumar Jensen, the city’s chief sustainability and resiliency officer, says this is an expansion of the city’s electric purchase process, in the wake of elimination of the “free” electricity deal that had been part of the now-expired ComEd franchise.

Says got new pricing this noon. Best price package was from MC Squared Energy Services LLC. Includes 100% renewable energy guarantee.

Committee approves the contract proposal.
