Non-profit organizations in Evanston will have the opportunity to shop for volunteers at Evanston Township High School next  month, when the school’s Community Service Office holds a Volunteer Fair in the school’s main lobby.

Scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 8, the fair will feature more than 20 different local agencies and organizations that will provide information to students about tutoring, mentoring, unpaid internships, spring break and summer break positions, and special events.

The fair “promotes volunteerism and it’s a terrific service that ETHS provides to our community,” said Mary Collins, the school’s community service coordinator.

Non-profit organizations that would like to recruit students at the fair may contact Collins at (847) 424-7662.
