Police have charged an Evanston parolee with felony possession of heroin after executing a search warrant at his apartment across from Evanston Township High School

46-year-old William L. Reed of 1569 Dodge Ave. also faces a misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.

And Police say they found firearm ammunition and seized $1,300 in cash believed to be the proceeds of drug sales during the Friday morning raid.
