Evanston police say a 19-year-old Evanston man was stabbed during an argument with two other men in the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue late Sunday.

Cmdr. Joseph Dugan says a friend drove the victim to Evanston Hospital, where he was treated for a puncture wound in the lower back that was not considered life-threatening.

Dugan says the suspects in the 10:30 p.m. incident are described as 18 to 32 year old males, one Hispanic, the other black.

Dugan says it’s not known what the argument was about but that detectives have spoken with several witnesses and are following up with the victim.
