The famed United States Marine Corps All-Star Jazz Band will make its first Chicago-area performance at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall on the Northwestern University campus Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.  The concert is free and open to the public.

The 18-member jazz band is drawn from 10 different Marine Band programs throughout the world and makes a concert tour once a year.

When they come to Evanston, they will be joined by clarinetist and saxophonist Victor Goines, a professor in the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern.

Although admission  is free, tickets are required and may be obtained by calling the Pick-Staiger ticket office at (847) 467-4000. They will also be available at the door on the night of the concert.
