Evanston is likely to get some light snow this evening and possibly again tomorrow in two separate snow bands with the first one starting about 8 p.m.
Assistant Public Works Director James Maiworm says this evening’s snowfall should end by 11 p.m. or midnight after delivering up to a half inch of snow.
On Sunday light snow or flurries are expected to begin around 9 a.m. and continue until about 1 p.m. A dusting to a half inch is possible with this portion of the storm.
Maiworm says public works crews are alerted and are on standby for this event and crews will begin clearing operations when conditions require.
