THEFT

1300 South Boulevard

A silver 2017 Mazda was stolen between 3 p.m. Monday and 6:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of South Boulevard. Police suspect that the keys may have been left in the car.

900 Maple

A phone was reported stolen from a home in the 900 block of Maple Avenue between Nov. 4 and 7 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Someone gained entry to a locker at LA Fitness, in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue, between 11 a.m. Saturday and noon Tuesday, and stole cash.

300 Ridge

Purses were reported stolen from a closet at AMITA Health Saint Francis Hospital around 9:30 a.m. Monday.

1900 Noyes

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2007 Toyota in the 1900 block of Noyes Street between 8 a.m. Nov. 4 and noon the following day.

1800 Hovland

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2008 Honda in the 1800 block of Hovland Court between 7 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Emerson at Jackson

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2007 Toyota at Emerson Street and Jackson Avenue between 7 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

1911 Warren

Shawntella Moutry, 32, of 150 W. Maple Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1911 Warren St. at 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 and charged with retail theft.

ASSAULT

1625 Maple

Brendan J. Thompson, 34, of 749 Sherman Ave., was arrested at 1625 Maple Ave. at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday and charged with assault.

BATTERY

1454 Elmwood

Thomas E. Whitehead, 52, address unknown, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 11:10 a.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY

1300 Maple

Someone forced their way into a storage area in the 1300 block of Maple Avenue between noon Saturday and 10:51 a.m. Tuesday and stole electronics, clothing, and artwork.

500 Lake

A pry tool was used to force open mailboxes at a residence in the 500 block of Lake Street between 2 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

1500 Colfax

A pry tool was used to force entry to a garage in the 1500 block of Colfax Street between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Missing items included a bicycle and electronics.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1000 Hinman

Someone slashed tires on a 2019 Jeep in the 1000 block of Hinman Avenue between 4:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Tuesday.

1700 Dempster

A gate was damaged at a residence in the 1700 block of Dempster Street between noon Friday and noon Monday.

2100 Dempster

Someone damaged a lock on a storage unit in the 2100 block of Dempster Street at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday.

1400 Fowler

Property was damaged by a bullet at a home in the 1400 block of Fowler Avenue around 2:32 a.m. Tuesday.

1900 Dewey

A window was broken with a rock in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.

800 Brummel

Paint was used to damage common areas at a residence in the 800 block of Brummel Street between 10 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

1621 Simpson

Eva M. Lewis, 21, of 856 E. Eighth St., Chicago, was arrested at 1621 Simpson St. at 1:23 a.m. yesterday and charged with knowingly damaging property.

GRAFFITI

500 Sheridan

Spray-painted graffiti was discovered at 6:49 a.m. yesterday at a park in the 500 block of Sheridan Square.
