Plans to build a five-story apartment buiding on what’s now a parking lot at 1555 Ridge Ave. will be discussed at a 4th Ward meeting tonight.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at St. Mark’s Church at 1509 Ridge, across Grove Street from the development site.

The proposed planned development would include 68 apartments and 62 parking spaces, based on a proposal submitted to the city this fall.

A major obstacle to the project was removed last week when the City Council gave final approval to a proposal by Wesley Realty Group to substitute parking at the city’s Maple Avenue garage for parking on the Ridge Avenue lot that had been used as parking for Wesley’s apartment building at 1570 Oak Ave.
