The Evanston Fire and Police Departments will hold a memorial ceremony to honor the men and women who lost their lives in the terrorist attack 17 years ago at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, and the related plane crash site in western Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, 2001.

The memorial service will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday at Firemen’s Park, located at the corner of Simpson Street and Maple Avenue.
