800 Emerson

Metals were taken while secured at a construction site in the 800 block of Emerson Street between 3:15 a.m. and 3:45 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 9:24 p.m. Saturday.

1640 Chicago

Weislaw P. Kaminski, 63, of 2601 W. 55th St., Chicago, was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 9:44 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft.


734 Monroe

John T. Prince, 51, of 734 Monroe St., was arrested at that address at 6:41 p.m. Saturday and charged with assault.


600 Davis

Cash and checks were stolen from an unlocked 2011 BMW in the 600 block of Davis Street between 8:30 p.m. and 9:22 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1400 Grey

A window was broken at an apartment in the 1400 block of Grey Avenue around 11:19 p.m. yesterday.

1700 McDaniel

Someone slashed a rear tire of a 2015 Honda parked in the driveway of a home in the 1700 block of McDaniel Avenue between 9 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday.


5600 Old Orchard

Throy Bobby Nightingale, 31, of 3820 W. Ainslie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 5600 Old Orchard Road at 8:38 a.m. yesterday and charged with physical harm intimidation.

1401 Maybrook

Lloyd S. Whitiker, 35, of 800 S. Wells St., Chicago, was arrested at 1401 S. Maybrook Dr., Maywood, at 10:44 a.m. on March 13 and charged with deceptive practice.


1334 Asbury

Jesse R. Chastang, 36, of 820 Brummel St.., was arrested at 1334 Asbury Ave. at 2:03 p.m. on March 19 and charged with a traffic violation.

1702 Dodge

Gregory T. Jackson, 32, of 8924 Robin Drive, Des Plaines, was arrested at 1702 Dodge Ave. at 8:14 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Mulford at Asbury

Peter J. Mannix, 56, of 8509 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, was arrested at Mulford Street and Asbury Avenue at 3:43 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
