Someone stole metal objects from a construction site on Asbury Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

728 Dobson

Dawson P. Ambroise, 22, of 738 Dobson St., was arrested at that address at 6:42 p.m. Saturday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m.

Burglary

1000 South Boulevard

Bicycles were taken from an unsecured garage of a home in the 1000 block of South Boulevard around 3 p.m. Saturday.

1100 Pitner

Burglars broke a window of a vehicle in the 1100 block of Pitner Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Friday and took keys and clothes that were inside.

1800 Howard

Cash was stolen from a restaurant in the 1800 block of Howard Street around 4:10 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

609 Asbury

Elijah L. Bond, 21, of 718 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 609 Asbury Ave. at 3:01 a.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass. He is due in court on Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m.

Graffiti

2500 Ashland

Graffiti was discovered on government property in an alley in the 2500 block of Ashland Avenue at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Other

1126 Hartrey

Kevin Keeler, 57, of 1126 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at that location at 4:53 p.m. yesterday and charged with intoxication as a pedestrian. He is due in court on Nov. 22 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

1600 Simpson

Gunshots were reported in the 1600 block of Simpson Street at 11:50 p.m. Friday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

200 Ridge

Gunshots were reported in the 200 block of Ridge Avenue at 1:02 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1400 Cleveland

A wallet left unattended in the yard of a home in the 1400 block of Cleveland Street was stolen around 1 p.m. Thursday.

1300 Asbury

Metal objects were stolen from a construction site in the 1300 block of Asbury Avenue around 1 p.m. Friday.

2000 Noyes

A lawnmower and trimmer left unattended in the yard of a home in the 2000 block of Noyes Street  were stolen between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday.

Traffic

1400 Chicago

Melissa A. Cadena, 36, of 6434 N. Mozart St. Chicago, was arrested at 1400 Chicago Ave. at 11:06 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

2352 Ashland

Margarlee Becker, 60, of 420 Dillman, Naperville, was arrested at 2352 Ashland Ave. at 5:29 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m.

3100 Simpson

Jessica P. Gomez, 18, of 2040 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 3100 Simpson St. at 7:01 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 15 at 1:30 p.m.

600 Clark

Tinnakorn Viboonchan, 39, of 4970 Marine Lane, Chicago, was arrested at 600 Clark St. at 6:18 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Nov. 29 at 9 a.m.

1449 Ridge

William T. Youngs, 39, of 1466 W. Warner Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1449 Ridge Ave. at 11:45 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
