Evanston’s Lakeshore Arts Festival wraps up its two-day run at Dawes Park today.
Eva Ye, 5, of Evanston works on a painting as her mon Tracey watches.
In addition to all the artwork produced by grownups on display, the festival offers kids the chance to get in on the arts action themselves at the children’s craft tent.
The Urban Beat Dance hip hop dance troupe got young spectators up on their feat at the Family Stage.
Photographer Shelley Lawler is one of more than 125 artists exhibiting at the festival.

With temperatures in the low 80s and little chance of rain, today promises to be a fine day to mix looking at art with gazing at the water of the lake and the park lagoon.
The festival continues until 6 p.m. tonight.
