Omar A. Lopez, 22, of 8545 Kimball, Skokie, was arrested at 101 Ridge Ave. at 9 a.m. yesterday and charged with simple battery. He is due in court on June 30 at 9 a.m.
Shaquille D. Smith, 21, of 2121 Church St., Evanston, was arrested at 1818 Main St. at 7:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery to a police officer. He is due in court on June 30 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti was discovered on the street near Darrow Avenue and Greenleaf Street at 7:48 p.m. yesterday.
A laptop computer left unattended at the Evanston Public Library was stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
A bicycle locked to a bike storage rack in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue was stolen between 7:10 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. yesterday
Christopher M. Jaszczor, 26, of 2357 W. Jarvis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1400 Ridge Ave. at 8:57 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 27 at 10:30 a.m.
