The North Shore Mosquito Abatement District will be conducting targeted adult mosquito control operations throughout the city Monday night.

Operations are scheduled to occur between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., weather permitting.

The mosquito problem has been especially severe this summer due to heavy rains that create puddles of water where mosquitoes breed.
