The Evanston Fire Department’s paramedics have a new look for when they respond to medical calls thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Fire Department this morning posted on social media the photo above of a paramedic dressed in protective gear and noted that the new equipment is a precaution “for our well being and yours.”

“We may look different, but our mission will always stay the same.” The post to Facebook adds, “Please practice social distancing, wash your hands and stay home except in case of emergency.”
