A new pharmacy, Simply Pure Rx, will open at 1607 Benson Ave. in downtown Evanston this week.

A grand opening ceremony, with Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl on hand to cut the ribbon, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

Owner and Chief Pharmacist Sami Musleh says the business, in the Sherman Plaza complex across from the Davis Street CTA station, will offer a full retail pharmacy, compounding lab and home delivery service as well as custom-made pet medications.

“As Evanston’s first pharmacy with an advanced compounding lab, Simply Pure Rx can create various new options for patients seeking innovative solutions for their medication problems,” Musleh says.

“Our expert pharmacists review, consult and create custom dosages and dosage forms personalized for every patient,” Musleh says. “Our products are made without adding unnecessary preservatives, coloring or perfume to help prevent side effects and optimize drug therapy.”

More information is available on the Simply Pure Rx website or by calling 847-227-8020.
