The sign was going up this noon at 1557-1563 Sherman Ave. in downtown Evanston for Reza’s Restaurant — which is moving into the space vacated last summer when Pete Miller’s closed.

Reza’s signed a lease for the space last fall, Evanston Now reported then. The small family-owned restaurant chain started in Andersonville and already has a location in Oak Brook.

It specializes in Mediterranean and Persian Cuisine.

Word is the new Reza’s will open around March 15 and offer lunch and dinner service and weekend buffets.
