Less than three months after Pete Miller’s Restaurant closed on Sherman Avenue in downtown Evanston, the building’s owners have signed a lease with a new restaurant tenant for the space.

Al Belmonte of Wesley Realty Group says the building will reopen as a new location for Reza’s Restaurant, which already has locations in Andersonville and Oak Brook.

The Reza’s location at 5255 N. Clark in Andersonville.

Reza’s, which has been in business since 1983, specializes in Mediterranean and Persian cuisine and features vegetarian dishes as well as seafood and kabobs along with lunch and brunch buffets.

Belmonte says the restaurant will have a full lunch and dinner menu and a cocktail bar. He says plans are to open “as soon as possible.”
