Actors Gymnasium offers summer camp

The Actors Gymnasium Circus and Performing Arts Camp lets young performers strengthen, stretch and flex their physical and creative muscles.

Each day begins with a rigorous warm-up, followed by training and workshops in circus and aerial arts, physical theatre and drama, and dance.

Students learn juggling, tumbling, static trapeze, Spanish web, tightwire, stilts, and more; take field trips; and create and perform their own circus-theatre performance at the end of the session.

Camp, directed by Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi, teaches children the full scope of circus theater in an age appropriate way.

The camp meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The first session runs from June 15 to July 10; the second session from July 13 to Aug. 7.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
