Mark Johnson, Executive Director of the Fellowship of Reconciliation USA, a peace/nonviolence organization, speaks September 23rd at the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago. His topic is, “After War: The Way Out and What Follows.” Johnson will discuss the thinking in the anti-war community about the transition to peace in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as about ending other wars around the world. He will talk about issues of reconciliation that ought to follow these conflicts and ask what our responsibilities are to the peoples of these countries.
