An Evening With Richard Peck at EPL

Join us for a very special evening with multiple award-winning author Richard Peck. The author of over 35 celebrated books for children and teens, Mr. Peck is best known for the beloved Illinois-set "Grandma Dowdel" books, A Long Way From Chicago (winner of the 1999 Newbery Honor), A Year Down Yonder (winner of the 2001 Newbery Medal), and A Season of Gifts. He is also known as a pioneer of the modern YA genre, having published his first book for teens – Don't Look and It Won't Hurt – in 1972.

Mr. Peck will read from his work, answer questions from the audience, and sign books during this rare appearance sure to be enjoyed by all ages.
