The Black Business Consortium and the City of Evanston will cosponsor a Black Business Expo from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Levy Center.

Over 35 vendors are scheduled to attend with information, coupons, and food samplings. The event will also feature a panel discussion of business successes and challenges. And there’ll be free entertainment featuring:

  • Alexis Harris, Songstress and Theater Performer from ETHS.
  • Kamila Muhammad and Thaddeus Tukes, musicians and Northwestern graduates.
  • Edward Hegeman and the Words I Manifest group from Urban Prep Academies.

There will also be a Le Tour de Noir bus tour from 1 to 3 p.m. Tickets for the bus tour are $20. The Levy Center expo is free.
