Black history month presentation

The Black History Month event, "She Was His Cook, But He Built Her House: Race, Gender and Reproductive Labor in 20th Century Evanston," will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St.

Historian Doria Johnson explores new and important narratives that help define the political, social and cultural outcomes of the African American Great Migration in Evanston. Admission to the event is $10 and open to the public.
