The Evanston Chamber of Commerce is launching a series of workshops designed to help local businesses and non-profit groups improve their marketing efforts.
Evanston Now Publisher Bill Smith will lead the first workshop on "PR Best Practices — Getting Your News Published." It will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at the chamber office in Suite 205 in the Hahn Building, 1609 Sherman Ave. Registration information for that session is available here.
Then on Tuesday, April 19, Scott Emalfarb, founder of the social media marketing agency Fresh Content Society, will offer a "Facebook Intensive" workshop from noon to 2 p.m. at the same location offering strategies and tools to help your business build and enhance engagement. The fee for each session is $25 for chamber members, $40 for non-members.
