A community meeting to develop a strategy to erase the achievement gap in Evanston schools will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 16, at Second Baptist Church, 1717 Benson Ave.
Second Baptist's pastor, Michael Nabors, says the meeting will focus on combining Evanston's considerable resources to increase academic achievement and guarantee success for all of our community's children. "The only way we will succeed, is if our entire community works together towards excellence," Nabors says.
