Graduation Ball is a delightful classical ballet set to music from Johann Strauss II with choreography from special guest artist Laura Berman. The ballet is set in an all-girls school preparing for a graduation ball; the headmistress has invited the cadets of the city’s military academy to attend whereby flirtations, exuberant dances, and a secret romance ensue. Graduation Ball will feature guest performances from Mike Gosney, Glenn Leslie, Luke Joiner, and Britt Banaszynski. Prom 2014 invites guest choreographers to interpret the concept of a social dance event for teens from shopping for the perfect dress, formal dance etiquette, the universal group of awkward teens, and on to the ever-present queen bee clique. It features choreography from Béa Rashid, Christina Ernst, Jeff Hancock, Michel Rodriguez Cintra, Enid Smith, and Julie Cartier.
